Homemade pizza baguettes

Yesterday I baked off two baguettes for breakfast. After one baguette cheese I was full so I thought I’ll keep the other one for lunch.

When lunchtime arrived I wasn’t really into another baguette cheese.. Since I love pizza, I  got the idea of making a pizza baguette.

– Baguette
– Tomato sauce
– Tomatoes
– Grated cheese
– Turkey breast
– Herbs

How to make this:

Cut the baguette in half so you have two flat surfaces. Spread a layer of tomato sauce on both surfaces. Cut about two tomatoes into wedges and lay them on the baguette with some distance in between. Fill those gaps with the turkey breast (or other meat). When that is all in place you can cover both baguettes with the grated cheese.

When you are done with putting all the ingredients on the baguettes (feel free to add whatever you want) you can put them in the oven. I only used the grill function of the oven and had them in there for about 5 minutes.

When the cheese is melted and tempered you can get them out of the oven. Finish them with herbs to your taste. I wanted to use spring unions but only had chives so I put that as a topping.

Enjoy your pizza baguette!
